New Toshiba Satellite Pro C660D.Message comes up on opening SL Viewer 2 "Crash logger has failed."Im an old member and I just want to get back on SL urgent.Open shortcut to SL viewer and get "Second Life Crash Logger"

Hello Reginald and welcome to SL Forums. Do you get an error message when you try to run the application? If yes, we need to know it and generally some more details to be able to help. You can edit your post (Options --> Edit) adding more details about. Please do not create a new thread.

I can't start my car on some mornings either, but I wouldn't expect a mechanic to know why if I sent a one-line e-mail like that.  What kind of laptop is it?  What are its specifications (memory, model of graphic card, operating system)?  What kind of connection are you using?  What viewer? What have you already tried?  What error messages are you getting?  Has it ever worked before?  You can add this sort of valuable information to your question by clicking on the Options link in its upper right corner and selecting EDIT.  Please do NOT start a new thread.

BTW, your question has a title but no text. Are you using Internet Explorer 9 as your browser? If so, you need to set Compatibility mode for this web site.

While you have this website open, click the Compatibility View button that is located directly to the right side of the address bar next to the Refresh button. It looks sort of like a torn piece of paper. Once you do that, IE9 will let you post things here with no problem.

With no details, I can only offer one additional piece of advice. Are your graphics drivers up to date? I had my computer made, it was sent to me, I set it up, and the drivers were out of date even though it was new, straight from the factory.
