Check your email, including your spam folder, to see if you have received an email from Linden Lab telling you that your account has been suspended or banned.

If that is not the problem, it sounds like your internet connection has problems.  See some things to try here: http://blog.nalates.net/2011/10/26/troubleshoot-your-sl-connection/

If you have another account, try logging in with it.  If you can, then your main account might have been compromised, probably by a phishing site, and your password has been changed.  If you suspect this, follow the instructions here: http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Password-and-account-information/ta-p/700017#Section_.5 (What to do if your account has been compromised)
