Qie Niangao Posted December 19, 2015 Share Posted December 19, 2015 Well, it could actually be cache corruption, and something has changed to make that happen more and more often lately after a long time when the cache was relatively stable. If resetting cache clears up the problem for a while before it comes back then it's nothing to do with hardware, but rather this new bug. (One way the new bug manifests is really, really weird, too. When things get screwed-up enough, the viewer actually contaminates objects on the sim that the user has permission to modify, specifically swapping alpha modes from "Masking" to "None". There's another thread about it here somewhere and a jira; I was reminded by the OP's pictures that I'd seen something very similar just before that bug hit.) Copy paste the information from the viewer's HELP-About... Your picture shows what looks to be some things that have not rendered completly. That could be from a weak connection. Test your connection to an SL server. Get the IP address of the server you are using from HELP->About...
