I have a weird behavior with my mouse click
When I click a bed of mine (TNT palais) a menu should appear but it doesn't
When I do it with an alt of mine, same bed, same region, same internet, same computer and same viewer, the menu shows just like it should

I also have a related(I guess) problem: My main can't accept friends offerings. Clicking accept does nothing.

It has being going on for quite some viewer versions now and I would appreciate if some of you could enlighten me about what goes on and/or a work around

Dora, if it were only a matter of the bed not accepting clicks, I'd wonder if it was set to group access and your main had the wrong group activated. You might try resetting the bed's scripts.

But the friending problem makes me wonder if this isn't a viewer issue. I'm a Mac user, but when I get odd behavior like this, it's usually the result of some viewer settings file being corrupted, and those persist across installs. A clean install generally fixes things. I'll recommend the Firestorm clean install procedure, which should work for most viewers if you make the appropriate file and folder name changes.

Good luck, and report back!

Thanks for your sound advice!

I followed it and made a clean install

Sad to say it didn't help in any way

The problem is still the same.

With my main I can click the bed, but I get no menu

With my alt I can click and I get the menu

I am certain that my main do click the bed because my alt gets a message that the menu is taken by my main, when she clicks after my main has clicked

None of the items on my parcels are set to group or deeded

All are owned by by main alt

I have other clickable items including a blanket with the same engine as the bed in question and none of them give me troubles

I tried to strip my main, no attachments at all, and it didn't make any difference

@ Orca: I tried two different mice and found no difference

Very mysterious

I don't know what to do next

I am reluctant to try another viewer, but maybe there is no other way

Dora, I am glad you got your bed fixed, but maybe you have your profile set so only friends and groups can IM you. I have come to the conclusion adding somebody as a friend counts as an IM so try changing this to allow anybody to IM you. This might help solve your little friendship accepting problem.

There is no such setting (bolded above).

In the Official Viewer there is:

CaptureNew.PNG

OK, it's not in the profile, but there certainly is such a setting.
