How to micro-move camera left-right up-down

sometimes, especially when zoomed on a target, i want to move my camer only very slightly (up, down, etc).  but no matter how lightly i click the camera arrows, it moves too much. 

- is there some sort of micro-movement ?  (like when building, and SHIFT or CTRL minimizes size adjustments on prims)?

- or is there someplace or some setting where i can reduce the amount of movement?

Use the alt key and your mouse or control and alt and the arrow keys on your keyboard. Close the camera floater, there are easier ways to move your camera.

All the settngs for the viewer can be found in Debug Settings. I don't recall one that conrols arrow key nudge.

The Alt-LMB is my choice for moving the camera. But, that has draw backs too.

For Machinima I use a SpaceNavigator. US$60 to $90 on eBay. For many of my camera shots I use the SpaceNavigator too. Also for long range camera zooms/traveling.

Like Nalates, I've found nothing better for smooth and precise camera movement than the 3Dconnexion SpaceNavigator.

I didn't know you could use the 3D Connexion equipment in SL, here I am with a Spacemouse wireless sat there when I'm not using Sketchup ....wow, I'm giving that a go today ! Thanks very much Nalates
