Help With Multiple Notecards

Is there a setting so that I can have one notecard open at a time in edit? If I'm editing in one box, then go to other, I lose the other open box. Thank u.

Maybe I misunderstand the question, but I can have multiple notecards open at the same time, even with the same name. (This is in the Linden viewer, but I can't imagine it's different in any popular TPV.)

You can only edit one object at a time, though, if that's what you mean by "editing in one box, then go to another". But you can still edit multiple notecards from multiple boxes simultaneously, so... I must be misunderstanding.
