HELP!!

Hello everyone i just downloaded the game i have windows xp..Everytime i click on second life vieweer to play it pulls this message up " The procedure entry point decodepointer could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll" what does this mean and how do i fix this? I'm not really to good with computers when it comes to message like this so any help would be great..Thank you for everyones time and cant wait to play!

Ensure that you are running Windows XP SP2 or SP3 - these are updated versionsof your operating system you would have it if you switched on automatic updating.

If you are and you still have problems run the Windows System File Checker using sfc /scannow

If you don't understand what I mean please ask someone who knows more about computers to help you.
