Alstria
So I have dumped my cache and logged in 3 times now. My inventory is empty. All my folders are there but there is nothing in them. I had to pick a new avatar to rez myself. I had no issues last night and then today BOOM
Alstria
okay so I just signed into the default viewer and everything is fine. What should I do about FS now?
Madelaine McMasters
It's possible your problem is due to something messed up in your current installation of Firestorm. Do a clean install. That should get rid of any corrupted files and/or settings. Instructions for that are here... http://wiki.phoenixviewer.com/fs_clean_install
HunniHope
Clean reinstall is a bit of a drastic measure, however there is a page that specifically covers this http://wiki.phoenixviewer.com/fs_missing_inventory As you have already tested on the oficial viewer you can follow the advanced method and copy over the Inventory cache file. For future reference, if you need help with something in the Firestorm viewer just click on the 'Help' menu at the top of the viewer and then 'Join Firestorm support group' you will find a list of groups for different languages that you can join so that you can ask directly and usually get very quick response. You're right if the clearing of cache Alstria mentioned was not a clearing of the inventory cache. I jumped the gun in presuming that's what she'd tried. If she has already tried what's mentioned in that Firestorm page, a re-install is what I'd recommend.
edie Breil
it's your inventory filters, reset them.
