I try to add a video to an object, but the result is that I don't have Adobe Flash or an HTML5 browser.

I'm trying to view the video on an object in SL viewer.

I've downloaded the generic Adobe Flash

What am I doing wrong?

And the weirdest thing is that when I enter the regular page url of the Youtube video it plays on the object just fine. A bit choppy, but it does start and play.

So I'm thinking it could be the url I'm using? But again, SL overrides the url and writes in another url for the video.

Now what can I do? Is anyone else having this problem?

If that is what is happening when you use a regular page url what kind of url didn't work.

I use the url that shows in my browser address bar and then position/size it to fit my prim so that only the video is showing. At the end of the video it plays some other video or an advert. When you click on the home icon in the address bar it returns to the start of the original video, or an advert
