Can't do basic shaders and shadows anymore!

What you see in the picture above is what I get when I want to do basic shaders in Second Life. Shadows don't work anymore either, the same happens in both Firestorm and SL's viewer. Shadows and such worked fine and smooth in the past. Does anyone know what the problem might be?

Not too sure, but try this: go to Debug Settings (either in the advanced menu or from your login screen without login in). Type in "RenderMaxTextureIndex" and set the value no lower than 0 (mine are set to 16!). Maybe your previous settings were screwed up during a recent update of your viewers.

Just in case it would be mesh related (I recognize the LAQ table on your picture), try this, in debug settings too:

MeshMaxConcurrentRequests. The default value is set to 32, increase it and see if this helps.

What happened on your system lately? You say you cannot enable basic shaders and shadows anymore, so I presume, up to some point in the past you were able to enable both.

Did you do a WIndows update that came with a new graphics driver?
