Can I expect good framerate with this?

My specs:

 

• Intel i7-4700MQ 2.4GHz
• 8GM RAM
• Nvidia GeForce GT 750M for mobile

My framerate has deteriorated severely. Half the time I dip below 10, most of the time it hovers around 10-20 which is pretty much unplayable. In laggy public sims (like hangouts or popular stores), it rarely ever reaches above 10.

Is this normal for a mid-range GPU?

Im guessing you are wireless.. That will also lower your framerate. What is your bandwidth set to?

SL is designed to be barely playable at 5 frames per second and 15 is their target fps for an acceptable experience. Laptops are such a dice throw as to how they will work with SL.
