You announce a No change week last meeting, you announce No Rolls here....

And YET AGAIN the status page is warning us that there WILL be rolls on the RCs tomorrow.

What IS it with you folk?  Do you EVER sing from the same song book?

So, Roll or No Roll, which is it, I for one would like some definitive information, please.

 

PS Or am I just stupid in seeing the Grid Status Page as representing anything reliable? :smileymad:

The main issue here is that, so far as I know and can ascertain, there IS nothing QA'd to roll to the RCs so I don't see how there CAN be a roll. :smileyfrustrated:

ETA: [Resolved 9:35 AM PST, 23 November 2016] Today's rolling restarts are now complete. 

Intriguing.  Wirtz apparently rolled, but we are still on the same server version as before.  So I guess sims have been restarted to new servers, without a software update.  Nice of you to keep us informed, LL.  :smileymad:

It was badly announced, but "rolling restarts" could cover just restarting the RC sims, which may have been a good idea, and that appears to be what happened.

Trouble is, that is different to what they usually mean by the term, and they don't seem to notice when their customers ask even simple questions.

But since I don't speak American English, why should I care?
