Hey everyone :) Not 100% sure if this is the correct place to put this, but recentely i've been trying to convert my nipple chain i made for Sims to Secondlife. I had a issue where if the boobs got too big the middle section of the chain would distort. (And the chain floated a bit off the boobs and werent placed were the nipples were)

I want to get my chain to work with booby physics like this: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Maitreya-Lara-DEMO-Cuffed-Chains-and-Piercings/8270233? It works perfectly and even when you resize the boobs and body fat slider it still stays in place, and doesnt really distort(Only slightly with the clevage slider pushed together but eh)

So I played around with weighting different things. And it seemed I got it to resize fine//not distort when I weighted the chain 100% to the left & the right pec. And it worked with boob physics. But I still cant seem to fix the issue where the chain is floating a bit off the boobs( just a little) and the barbels are not where the nipple are. But in blender they are.

Here is a old 3d render of how its suposed to look by the way : http://eliavah.tumblr.com/post/139393990011/also-while-waiting-for-sims-3-to-load-when-testing

If anyone needs a screenshot of how it looks in Secondlife I can provide, but basically its like I said, it floats a bit off the boobs (no matter what size) and the little ball parts are not next to the nipple lke in the old render.

I even tried weighting some of it to the chest bone etc but it's still not working, and after 5-6 hours of trying I decided to maybe try to get help XD.

I use Firestorn Viewer, Blender, and Avastar, and I'm rigging for the Maitreya body

Not really my area but my first thought would be that the person that has the ones rigged that works "perfectly" may have the Maitreya Development Kit which (again only from what I have read) has the weighting numbers so that you can match yours to the body???????

Are you using that?  If not, then that might be something to investigate.

All I know :D

she says going back to turn her Marketplace selections to G and M again - LOL.

I happen to know the answer there and you're spot on, Chic. ^_^

You need the advanced developer kit btw, not the free-for-all available at the Maitreya store and from what I understand, there is very little chance you can manage to get hold of that. It doesn't hurt to ask though. You can find a link to the application form here:

Thanks you two! I actually talked to the creator and they told me that they don't use the offical kit, they just guestimate their weights ^^ And they helped me out with which bones and weight value would be helpful to rig. Thank you anyways for taking a look ^^ And I already applied for the Maitreya kit, but I don't think I'll get a kit untill I have more "credbility" I guess ^-^

That was really nice of them! I have a feeling that if all the people who've been trying to reverse-engineer the Maitreya rigging got together and compared notes, they'd get it spot on. Easy to understand why that won't happen though.
