Darius Amaterasu
So I've spent the last couple days working on meshes in blender to upload in SL. I keep coming across this issue where it distorts like crazy soon as you hit the skin weights button. So I worked on it and worked on it and researched for a couple days now. Then I decided, just for the hell of it, I would import some of the premade SL mesh's to see how it works. What do you know they are distorting too! Tools made by people used all over the place to help people are not uploading properly for me either. When I first import = http://i.imgur.com/0eSUKxK.pngAfter hitting weights = http://i.imgur.com/cctB0m4.pngThis exact same distortion is happening to my own models. same pose after weighting and everything. So Im imagining that once I figure this issue out my own meshes should work ok. If anyone could possibly help me out with this that would be fantastic. Im sure its something I am overlooking as an option in blender, I just have no idea what it is.
Isilmeriel
Double check that you aren't importing custom joint positions (or something like that, it's in the right-most tab in the upload window)
