Laurent Bechir
Hello, I've notices that when two platforms in the sky are standing side by side at the border of two sims, the avatar falls when crossing the border. Is it possible to avoid this problem ? I'd like to build a bridge between two stores in the sky, and this bridge would cross the border between two sims. Madelaine McMasters
Hi Laurent, Yep, it's possible to construct a bridge. You actually need two bridges, one rezzed in each sim, that overlap. That way, regardless of which sim you're exiting, the sim handoff will happen while you're standing on prims belonging to both sims. So long as either sim has you, you're fine. So, rez a long plank on one sim and extend half of it into the neighboring sim. Do the same on the other side, locating the plank in exactly the same place. Make one of them transparent so you don't have to worry about z-fighting (texture flicker). The two planks don't have to completely overlap each other. You could place a 30m plank in each sim, overlapping the other by 10m. Since the non-overlapping bits of each plank will be visible, you'll have to texture them both so that there is no flicker at the overlap. Have fun!
