Blender how do i select an object(i.e leg) of an object

Also note that while it is perfectly OK to use free downloaded mesh to practice on it is against the Terms of Service to upload. And, just in case you are working with someone else's mesh (and it does sound like it because if you made the "leg" you would know how to move your cursor *a wink from me too* ) you may be hurting yourself more than helping as there is lots of mesh out there to download that will not work for Game Assets (which is what we need in SL).

So as mentioned, if you want to learn Blender there are tons of good tutorials out there. Look for ones that are fairly recent so that the interface looks the same.
