Avastar Help

Probably will be the start of every thread I make that I'm unsure of but if I have this in the wrong forum, my apologies!

So I had gotten Avastar today (or whatever it's technically called) and I followed videos and guides on how to install it, which is real simple but some reason when I try and search it after doing so, nothing comes up! I tried searching for help but there's nothing related to my issue that I've found.

I have the latest Blender version so that isn't a problem, and I didn't unzip the avastar folder from it's zip file either. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

After install have you checked that little box to activate it ?

Well I try searching it after I install but nothing comes up to show it DID install. I made sure to follow the tutorials I found around the internet and Youtube

Are you aware that Avastar-1.7 is working best with Blender 2.76 or newer while Avastar-2 needs blender 2.77 at least?

Did you read the Avastar installation document? I tried to make this document as informative as possible:

If the written text in the document above still does not help you, then you should open a ticket in our ticket system

and describe exactly what you did and how it failed. However if you are not able to install the Addon into Blender then i suspect that Blender itself has an issue,  probably a broken Application data folder, something like this possibly:

I did not know that actually! I'll have to try it and see if that works. As for reading the document, I'll go over it again and see if I missed anything.

I'll definitely try the different methods. Thank you.
