Hi everyone. I am new to second life. I'm not sure where to start. I guess I made an account years ago because second life said I was already registered, but I don't ever remember playing this game before, lol.

OK ... getting started ...

First, download the client.  Here is the official one :https://secondlife.com/support/downloads/
And here is the most popular 3rd party one. http://www.firestormviewer.org/downloads/

Pick either one.  They are both complex as hell Firestorm has more stuff to fiddle with.

 

Once in world, play around with the controls.  Learn how to move, jump, fly and chat.  Also look at the search options.  Teleport around and don't worry about where you are or how to get back to where you were.  Send me an IM (or whisper, or tell or whatever you want to call it) and I'll help you get started if I am in world.
