money taken from my account by LL

hello .. i went to use LL firs the first time to buy lindens. i enterd all relevent info and click buy .. it came back saying could not process  my request ....... i knew i had enough in my bank to cover it so i go and check my bank  balance only to find LL had taken just over a dollar from my account .... why ?? this was my email from them  =

There are many reasons a payment can fail. The most common is using a card type that Linden Lab does not accept. The $1 charge is a test to see if the card works right, the $1 should be refunded to you fairly soon. See:
