Is there a way to cancel a cash transaction to an inactive avatar? I goofed!

How can I cancel a transaction to an inactive avatar? I sent it to the wrong person on my friends list, and the person to whom I sent the money has been gone from SL for some time, apparently

it turns out it *was* possible in this case. As Rolig Loon suggested, I contacted the billing office and they discovered the account had been indeed cancelled, and refunded my money
