How can I take money out of second life?

Simplest way is to use this link:

Long way round is to click on the Second Life icon at the top left hand corner of this page, log in again if it requests you to do so, read the options on the left hand side of your dashboard, select "account".

1.  Sell your $L using the L$/Manage link on the left side of your Dasboard page.  You can use either a Market Sell or a Limit Sell order, but be aware that a Limit Sell may take a long time to complete, especially if you have offered an unattractive price to potential buyers.  When sold, the proceeds go into your $USD balance.

2.  Do a Process Credit transaction to transfer money from your $USD balance to your PayPal or Skrill account.  Note:  You must use PayPal or Skrill, you cannot transfer money to a credit card.  Also, the PayPal or Skrill account must be "verified"...backed up by a Real Life credit card or bank account.

You must also have made at least one purchase of $L before you can sell $L.
