0 Lindal Kidd
There IS a trick, yes! You see, objects can only "exist" in one region. The region that contains the object's "center of mass"...where the movement arrows appear when you edit it...is the region that "owns" the bridge. The other region does not know it is there. The trick is to build two bridges, or two halves of the bridge, one in each region. Another workaround would be to put the bridge in one region, but then put an invisible prim in the "phantom" part of the bridge. This invisible prim must "belong" to the other region. The area where the structures overlap should be at least a few meters long, to give the new region time to load an avatar who is crossing the bridge. This will solve the problem of falling through the road!
