How to become a Real Estate broker in SL?

I want to become aReal Estate broker. How do I do it in Second Life?

For the most part, there are no Real Estate brokers in SL.  People buy and sell land directly, without the help of a middleman.

You could become a salesperson for one of the larger private estates.  That's about as close as you'll find in SL.

You can buy land yourself, and then try to re-sell it at a profit, either as-is or after improving the land by skillful terraforming and possibly adding landscaping and buildings.

You can buy Mainland or a private estate region and be a landlord, renting out parcels to other residents.  Maybe not exactly what you had in mind, but it's a close cousin.

Or you can just hang out your shingle and declare yourself in business.  Offer your services to buyers (you will provide advertising and show the property to prospective buyers for a commission) and sellers (you will search for properties that match their requirements, in return for a commission)  Since the data on available properties is available to anyone willing to use Search, you might not get much business.  But, you never know!
