Your question is unspecific, so 2 additional infos:

The control keys are used for movement too. You need to decide if you relay the control key - to the script (then you don't move) or to the viewer (then you move) or to both.

You can bind gestures to keys. That allows to send a command on one of the positive channels if you press F2 for example. A script with a listener can receive that.
