UNABLE TO MOVE OBJECTS FROM OBJECTS FILE INTO ANOTHER FILE. IT GOES IN AS A LINK, WHATS UP WITH THAT

every time i try to move an object from the object folder into another folder  it goes in as a link even though it copies

Have you tried to "cut" and paste?

If it's a No Copy object, you can only paste a link to it.

EDIT:  Whoops.  Cancel that.  Simply dragging a No Copy object to another folder should work.  It will move to the new folder, but not leave a copy of itself in the old one.

Try this.  Use the Gear icon in your inventory window to open a second instance of the inventory window.  Try dragging the object from one window and dropping it into another folder in the second window.  You should not need to do this all the time, you can drag an object within the SAME inventory window.  However, I've seen inventory window problems (missing folders and items and other things) that are fixed by opening a second window.  If this trick fixes the problem, try re-logging.

Are you trying to move the object into an outfit folder?

If so, that's expected behaviour that a link to the object will be added to the outfit folder. Outfit folders inside the system My Outfits folder should really only contain links.
