I rezzed a No Copy object at a sandbox and it disappeared, will it be returned?

I rezzed a No Copy object at a sandbox and it disappeared. I did an area search and nothing was found. Waited several hours, returned to sandbox and object wasn't there. Lost and Found folder is empty. I have relogged several times since this occured. This is the first time I've had this problem and have no idea where the object went.

Look in your Lost and Found and see if it is there.  Also check the folder it was in, if there is one.  Sometimes it takes a while for something to show back up in your inventory too.  I've had things show up  days after I 'lost' them.

You maybe have to relog a couple of times, before you see the item again in your inventory....
