Question

http://i469.photobucket.com/albums/rr51/sammyanddaddy/glitch1.png

After editing my appearance on an Auma stand, and wearing my hair, after getting off the stand, the hair suddenly glitched and it appeared a few metres in the air in front of me. Like it was floating! I cant reposition the hair, it just seems to have become separated into bits that hover around me. This was after I made the hair larger, while wearing it and when on the stand.

I've tried clearing my cache and re baking textures, but it didn't help. Any other suggestions? This hair was a gift from a friend of mine. :/
My worn shape has also disappeared from my inventory, are they linked?
All help is greatly appreciated.

(The link on top shows a picture of the glitched hair!)

If you haven`t already made a copy of the hair & you have now detached the broken one, you will need to contact the creator and ask for a replacement.

If you made a copy before trying to edit it (which is always advisable) just delete the broken one & make another copy to try editing.

Check that the hair doesn`t have resize scripts in it before you try resizing it manually.

You have unlinked bits of your hair. It is, essentially, useless. If you made a copy before modifying, wear the copy (but make another copy first). If you did not, you can try to contact the seller for a replacement but sellers are not responsible for individual errors. Perhaps this one will be kind to you. Many hairs now have resize scripts. Touch the hair while you have it on and see if a blue resize box pops up. Modifying hair without resize scripts requires patience and expertise in unlinking parts. You can gain that expertise by taking one or two basic building classes. Good luck!
