All of a sudden I have over 10,000 pieces of inventory gone

All of a sudden I have over 10,000 pieces of inventory gone, what is happening? I don't see anything in SL indicationg there are inventory issues. Any one else having this issue?

No. Most inventory loss is not real, but it's still scary.  Your viewer uses a copy of your inventory (a cahe) that is stored on your own computer, instead of asking the servers to display the whole thing every time you want something. Unfortunately, it is fairly easy to damage that cached copy.  Things seem to go missing then.  The cure is to delete the cache completely and force your viewer to download a fresh copy from the servers. The most important sentence in those instructions, I believe, is the one that says, "While inventory repopulates, do not teleport anywhere, and do not attempt to access anything in your inventory."  Be patient.
