How do I enter a code for second life? like if I get a code, how do I enter it so I can use it?

So, what did they tell you the codes would do? Someone may have been playing with your head -- no cheat codes in Second Life, at least not ones that work anywhere. There may be some regions where someone has written a script so that these codes will do something, but we'd need more information to know where they might be.

Those are not codes that mean anything to your viewer or the servers.  If you're playing a game somewhere that uses those codes, the person who made the game (or the person running it) will be able to tell you what to do.
