Something seriously wrong

Ive lost the ability to click on any hud as if all scripts have been deleted, right click check and they are all there. Run Reset, nothing. mesh avatar is all monkey looking now as it will not run its deformer. I've reinstalled, flushed cache, reset scripts, nothing is working.

First let's focus on this problem of scripts not running in your HUDs.

You're on land where you for sure are allowed to run scripts, right? Like, if you rez a fresh object on the ground (not attached) and add a New Script to its contents, it says "Hello, Avatar!", right?

And, when you say "Run Reset", for whatever object you have selected did you first do Build / Scripts / "Set Scripts to Running" ?

Ok so it looks like some of thes hackers have a new tool that they can target you and shut down all scripts. So Im having to detach everything and do a hard reset on each and every item in my inventory to get it to run again.

No script in SL can damage things in your inventory.  SL scripts just don't work that way. There isn't even any scripting function for that kind of thing.

Accounts can't be hacked but can be compromised if you give someone your password, or you clicked a link that took you to a phishing website or installed a keylogger or other malware.

If you've done any of this it's possible someone logged into your account and messed with the items in your inventory.
