Keeping in mind that gambling in SL was forbidden a while back i doubt a lottery would work.

The only advise to give is, ask Lindens about because they have the last word.

And consider that SL is a worldwide plattform, even if Lindens would allow you could still get into troubles from a foreign countrys law.

Well i can´t talk about them but just because one does some illegal and didn´t get caught won´t make it legal.

Lindens banned all kind of gambling even sploders where questioned and are still a greyzone.

But i can say what i want the Boss is Lindens ! lol

No, I was not going to start one without having an attorny present. I however assumed, that since other people had ACTUALLY PURCHASED land and placed gambling areas on that land (Casinos) that the TOS weren't against it. Especially since I've seen them ever since I've started playing SL.
