64x64 Platform

Hello All,

I was AFK for about a year and was after a 64x64 platform in the sky but it seems prices may of increased.

Is it possible these days to get one for around $1000 for 800-900 prims or have they just gone up in price too much?

You can scale a standard prim up to 64x64 square meters so that is cheap

A platform doesn't buy you prims the land below it does, 4096 square meters will buy you 937 prims as standard and 1875 in case the parcel is double primmed

4096 square meters will cost a tier of 25 US$ per month on the mainland

You mean rent it for L$1000 per week? If so, yeah, that's close to the going prices for Mainland sky-only rentals. In fact, you can probably get it a bit cheaper than L$1  / prim / week if the ground below is junky enough.

If you mean buying a Mainland 4096 for L$1000, I'm not sure that was ever commonly possible. At the very bottom of the land market really poor land sold below L$0.5 / sq.m. but if you ever found a square 4096 at sale for less than L$0.25 / sq.m., it must have been extraordinarily good timing.

In general, both rents and purchase prices have gone up slightly over the past year, but barely noticeably compared to historic prices.

Appreciate the replies, looks like I need to do a little searching for the best price.

There used to be a huge sim that was pretty much setup for people selling land/renting etc but can't find it anymore.
