Zoeyamazon Posted April 21, 2015 Share Posted April 21, 2015 SO my SL viewer doesn't launch, get's stuck on "Initializing VSF" and that's it, I already unistall and install it again and nothing, and I can't contact support since none of their options is what I need. Can anyone help me? It all started when I lost my internet when my router stopped, and showed on SL that it crashed, I closed it down and 20 minutes after didn't work anymore.HELP!! Nalates Urriah Posted April 21, 2015 Share Posted April 21, 2015 You don't say... so restart your gateway/router and computer. Then try again. VFS is virtual file system. So, your viewer is having a problem opening files. Your settings file, chat logs, cache or something has likely been damaged in the crash. So, your reinstall would need to be a clean install. Look for how to clean install the viewer. There are instructions telling you how to save chat logs if you want to save them. The important thing is the instructions tell you how to clear out ALL the files. When you ask a tech question like this, open the viewer's HELP->About... and copy the info there and include it in your post. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
