How do I find these prims for so I can upload to the marketplace

Well if it is something that is "rezzable" *You can bring it from your inventory onto the actual world/grid and it appears as a solid type object... you can right click- Edit and that will tell you the prim count within the General Information of the item.

 

If it is System type clothing * Jackets, shirts, undershirts, underwear, socks, gloves, tattoo layers for example* those are 0 prims.

k the shirt I made isn't rezzable I've looked at other clothes in the store and some don't have prim count on them do clothes even have prims?

Shirts that are a System layer *ones that do not attach like prims, they are "painted" onto your avi* Do not have prim counts

As Lexy said, system clothing is zero prims. It's "painted" on the avatar.

If you look at the clothing in your inventory, system clothing will look like... clothing. Prim clothing parts will look like boxes.

And you are not forced to tell the prim count, since clothing creators rarely do... clothes are worn, so even if they have, indeed, an impact on the lag anyway, they doesnt count on the prim allowance of the land. So its not an info customers usually ask for.
