Getting a LM to teleport from a website

ok lets say you are looking at a forum or advetisment...market place. there's a link. it takes you to the web and shows second life and ask teleport now? ill be logged into SL. since the update i do not get the LM sent to SL. Never had a problem before.

I just tested that feature on the web in Second Life 3.6.9 (282535) Oct 18 2013.  It worked for me in Windows 7.   I did not  test it on the market place.

I had similar happen to me after an upgrade.  I know I may not be using exactly the right terms but for some reason the "launch app" was pointed to the old (now defunct) version.  I had to reset it to the new version.

The one problem you may have is if you had selected 'remember my choice,' the window may not come up and right now I can't remember how to get it to appear if that was the case.  Been to long since I messed with it.

yes correct the launch feature doesn't come up for me. i guess i saved it.

And I still can't remember how to get back to it to change it.

I may mess with it later.  Too many other things going on.

I'm also having the same problem. I first noticed this starting yesterday (11/3).

     "The one problem you may have is if you had selected 'remember my choice,' the window may not come up and right now I can't remember how to get it to appear if that was the case.  Been to long since I messed with it."

To fix the selected application, you need to go to your Firefox Options > Applications. Scroll down until you find Second Life, and in the drop down window you can set to Always Ask.

Thing is, even after aiming it to Firestorm-Beta, it still doesn't work. Though it will work if you do not have Firestorm already running.

Thanks for that.  I knew it was simple.  It had just been so long it was eluding my mind.

I rolled back to the last stable (non-beta) version of Firestorm and this problem has disapeared.

I've seen it suggested that installing the official viewer will correct this issue... you don't even have to use it, just have it installed.
