Embedding Calling Cards into Notecards

Hello, I searched the forum but didn't find this question anywhere so I hope someone is able to help me. 

I want to embed calling cards into a notecard, but I am not the owner of the notecard.  After I save the notecard the calling cards of my friends change to say 'loading' and when I click on them it takes me to my profile, not theirs.  Additionally I tried embedding calling cards of people who are no longer on my friends list  to a notecard that I created and it won't let me do that either.  Is this a glitch or is it something I just am not able to do?  Thank you very much for your help!

It sounds like this bug: BUG-10321 - Calling Cards embedded from the Friends -> All folder always open the profile of the person who embedded the Calling Card.

Maybe it's not a bug.  Maybe only the person on the profile can give out a calling card to anyone else for privacy reasons.  If that's true then I can see why you can't embed one in a notecard, since you may distribute the notecard.

Calling Cards are not like other assetts; they are stored on your hard drive rather than a server.

That may have something to do with it.
