Hello.

I have noticed today that my physics do not work any longer.

I have tried different ones I have but nothing shows bouncing.

Well I have no idea why not.

I do not wear a mesh avatar, the same normal skin and shape I always had.

When I wear the physics they are showing as worn but nothing happens.

What´s wrong please?

Any help would be great, thank you.

Most current viewers have either one or two different settings affecting physics: an enable/disable option (controlling whether physics are performed at all, regardless of specific settings), plus a physics LOD factor (controlling how accurate the movement is) whose default value is 1.0. Both should be found in your viewer's preferences under the 'Graphics' section, provided you have advanced settings on.

Since the exact placing and naming of both options may difer from viewer to viewer, you can always resort to check both settings under the Debug Settings list (in your viewer's Advanced menu, not the preferences window). They're called AvatarPhysics and RenderAvatarPhysicsLODFactor.

Physics still work on my viewer:)
You must know that the visual experience depends on the actual frame rate on your viewer
Higher FPS shows lesser physics
so if you for some reason have a higher frame rate than you are used to you may not notice physics

The frame rate will increase if

  1. you change the graphic setting from Ultra to, say: Mid
  2. Move from a location with lot of textures, objects and people to one without
  3. you change from a slow to a faster computer

:smileysurprised::):smileyvery-happy:

"you change the graphic setting from Ultra to, say: Mid"

This is the solution and now I know why....I am at roleplay sims everyday since a week now and always reduce the

graphic settings to low...did not put it back to middle or high.

Thanks a lot, I am glad that this forum exists.Hugs!!!!
