Simple Pleasures Lifestyle Magazine is a new D/s publication in sl but the people behind aren't new to this.  

 

It's true there are quite a few magazines of its kind circulating and we invite you to check each one out.  Our creative team is made up of people who do this kind of thing in rl and it shows.  

 

But more important than that is the content.  The goal is to provide a mix of entertainment, maybe a few laughs but most of all, good, solid information for the D/s community.  There are so many misconceptions and bad information out there and people are being mislead and misinformed.  We want to show this lifestyle as something deep and loving...a bond that is unmatched anywhere...the trust and the open communication that is required in order to have a healthy D/s relationship.  We want to show the importance of safe, sane consensual dynamic.  We want to show it as not only intense and serious, but playful and fun.  

 

We want to feature articles, erotic stories, interviews, erotic photography (NOT porn), and classy models.

I assume you'll be providing the gladiatorial combat arena where all the different 10%ers (the 10 % of the BDSM scene that think they are the 90% and refuse to accept the existance of the other 90% let alone admit they are part of the BDSM scene) can duel it out to be the Officially Official, Official Committee, of the Official Guidelines Promulagation Board, that Officially dictates the Offiicial Guidelines on how to Offically do Official BDSM, Officially...

 

Because you are going to need one, if only to sort out who's  "articles on the real D/s Lifestyle" get shortlisted for publication, unless you were just planning an SL magazine version of "50 Shades of Clueless Vanilla"

 

I wish you the best of luck with this, but seriously, the BDSM community in SL is just as fragmented and balkanised as the RL one.

I couldn't agree more.  And it's made some of us quite cynical hasn't it?  

 

We each have 2 choices.  Accept it or do our part in trying to change it.  It begins with a single step.
