Experience Keys

So it is my understanding that one way to get Experience Keys when this thing is released (is it too late to get a beta key?) is for a user to have Premium Membership. This leads me to the question of what happens if a user loses that premium membership for whatever reason?

Does the key become invalidated and the whole experience stops working?

 

Also I read that there would be ways for non-premium members to get keys eventually, is there any update on this?

Hi Lucian.

The beta period is over and we have released phase 1 to all Premium members. We will treat all Premium perks the same in that if your membership expires or gets suspended your key will go into a suspended status. What this means is your key along with the experience will be disabled but can be re-enabled once your account is back in good standing.

So that means that if the creators that currently actually sells items supporting an experience (key) - for some reason (maybe not on purpose) - loses premium. Then all who purchased these items suddenly have a pile of items they paid for but can no longer use?
