every time I log in and try to rezz or edit I crash

Every time I try to rezz or edit I get all these flashes of colors and lines on my screen then I crash, I also noticed it takes forever to rezz in now that I went to Firestorm and Secondlife viewers. I have gone through all of SL and Firestorms sugestions and still cash all the time

I hate to say it, but it sounds as if you may have damaged your graphics card.  Those flashing colors and crashes are classic symptoms of overheating.  It may be too late now, but try opening your tower and using a can of air to blow out all the accumulated dust bunnies and cat hair.  Be sure that all the fans are spinning properly.  You should be doing that regular maintenance monthly.  If you're using a laptop, you may need to have it cleaned professionally.  Then be sure that you always use it raised well off the table top (preferably with a cooling pad under it to blow extra air through it).  Good luck.

my Graphic card is fine, I just had a Tech run a compleate scan of my computer 31/2+ hours and he tol me everything was fine, any other sugestion?

Milo, please specify the Make and Model of your GC and PC. Start SL / Go to HELP / About SecondLife - Copy the results to the clipboard and please post that information here for us to see.

If your PC/GC are older you may be overheating the GC trying to process the rendering information from SL.

Also, can you rez and edit in another place such as a public sandbox?
