Is second life having slow log ins today due to weather???

I was on second life. However everything was so laggy, that i logged off. Now it is giving me the log in screen. However the little login bar is not moving. It just keeps saying logging in....... Earlier it took about 4 minutes for the progress more to finally move and log me in. So just curious is Second life having slow login issues today, Due to the weather in their area????

I'm having the same problem.   All working fine last night, but now cannot log in at all.   Eventually times out to a screen that says "despite best efforts something unexpected happened".

I take it the login issue is still not fixed???? i was online and got kicked and now i cant get back on SL at all. goes to logging in but then just stops. Do we know how long it's going to take to fix this issue??? i have a set from 12-2 slt and if im not gonna be able to get on id like to let ppl knw thru my skype.
