I own a group and a sim in and they are showing in the sim and offline why?

I have a group I created and some of my members are showing the group in their profile and yet not showing in members and offline. How can they do this don't I have a right to see who is online when they are on my property? Could they be hiding something. Others do not have the group listed and are showing offline and listed in the group. Is is SL I think something smells funny to me. Hope someone can help!!::smileysad:

Listing a group in your profile or not has nothing to do with the ability to show on or off line.

Someone can choose to be shown off line to people, but their listing in a group will always show if they are on line or not to other group members.

Check your group list carefully looking at user name.  Display names can always be added or changed so they are not useful when searching your group for a name.  If you still can't find them then it is a glitch or bug, nothing they are doing intentionally.
