Does anybody ever READ before posting?

I just waded through THREE PAGES of people asking the same question today:  "Why can't I get in world?"

Now, I realize that this probably represents only a tiny fraction of the people who tried and failed to log in during today's unusual and unplanned outages.  For the majority of you who DID read the many complaints, then checked the Grid Status blog and said, "Oh...I see.  SL is down for a while.  Time to water the cat." ... THANK YOU for your patience, initiative, rationality, and basic all around human intelligence!

For those of you who contributed to those three pages...shame on you.

PLEASE do at least a rudimentary forum search before you post!  (It's hard to miss, when you type your subject line you are automatically offered a list of similar threads.)  PLEASE check the Grid Status if you are having sudden login problems!  You don't even need that bookmark, it's right on your Dashboard page in front of your face.

Your overworked, underpaid volunteer staff thanks you.
