Can one person be tracked by Platinum Tracker hud by more than one person?

I am trying to track a friend with Platinum Tracker HUD but the dialog box says "Already being tracked" and the name does not show up in my list.

Can one person only be tracked by one other person?

This would be a question to ask the creator of the HUD. No one here would know unless we use the same HUD. If the creator has a support group, join it and ask there. If not, contact the creator personally and ask.

Personally first time i hear for this product, i have no idea how it works and also i don't know someone to use it. I agree with what Ariel suggested. If you can understand how exactly it works reading the instructions, contact the creator asking for support.

I see from the product description in the SL Marketplace that this particular tracking HUD holds up to 20 avatar names.  I have a different tracker HUD, that holds up to 20 names or up to 40 names, but often they do not all show up on the screen, but I do still receive the notifications inworld and also to my email (as per my settings).  I would hazard a guess that all such tracker devices in SL work on the same principle. 

The creator of your particular tracker device seems very friendly and approachable, and according to Marketplace, welcomes IMs from people.
