Why doesn't Secondlife support my materials from Blender?

Hi! I have done some models in Blender and I have tried to upload them to Secondlife and yes - they do upload but without materials? My question thus is how do I get those materials with my blender model to Secondlife? (I have baked materials in Blender and still they won't show up in Second life). Thank you!
