Transparent Texture and with out colour mesh object for button hud?

Hello I'm make HUD, right... and the design of the hud is one layer-> Background (only one texture with buttons) ...  I want create square for resize how button (that is done) but I want this square object make in Transparent Texture and color, that can see the background but can used this squeare how buttom for select option.
