CasseyYoung
Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum and new to building so please be patient with me. I am building my very first ever house (just a square thing). One wall is brick on the bottom and then has an upper part that is triangular where the roof sits. How can I texture that triangle with bricks without having them warp?
Profaitchikenz Haiku
The post immediately prior to this one mentioned that, you must change to planar mapping for the face in question, TYou will then find the H & V repeats will probably need reducing quite a lot when you apply the texture to it. marcov Carter
Hello Cassey Assuming you did it with regular prims, you probably used Taper (X: 1,00 /or/ Y: 1,00) to get the triangle. Prim torture made by "Taper" results a deformation of the texture. Here is the solution: instead of using Taper, cut the cube like this:Path cut Begin/End => B: 0,500 / E: 0,750 You'll get a triangle, but this time the texture will not be warped
