Log in to Second Life with your viewer.  The charming person with his/her back to you is your avatar. You automatically have an avatar any time you are in world.  You may choose a different one if you wish by using the Avatar button on your task bar, or you may select an avatar from the collection in your Inventory >>> Library >>> Clothing >>> Initial Outfits folder.  Please read https://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Controlling-your-avatar-s-appearance/ta-p/700709 for specific details.

Log in to Second Life Viewer , press the first button from left . Rechange your avatar from there .
