Private chat device? That's just IM's. No device necessary. To teleport, you open search, find a place you want to go, and choose "teleport."

Are you using the official viewer, the one you can download directly from this site? Make sure you're not in Basic mode - there should be a mode selector on the login screen, next to the place where you put your name and password. Choose "Advanced" in the dropdown menu.

Hello crsimmons. I am not sure what you ask for. For private chat --> right click on another avatar --> IM. For teleporting some infos here. If you want to add some more details about what you want to ask for, edit your post (Options --> Edit). If you mean that you confused with the new UI after the last update of Viewer 3, you can find everything you need on the buttons on the left and down in your monitor where you can add more with right click --> Choose buttons.
