how to take a picture from mouse view

when ever i am in mouse view and try to take a snapshot i have to which out of it to click the save button which changes the snap shot to include my avatar.. is there a way around that?

Take your first snapshot as you curretnly do.

Then enter mouselook and hit Control `

I hope you have a ` key to the left of your 1 key in the corner of your keyboard as that is the only way I know to accomplish this.

The easy way to take snapshot in mouse view:

1. Click the snapshot button. Snapshot preview window opens.
2. Go now to mouseview. Adjust the view to your liking.
3. Hold down ALT-key and move the mouse over the snapshot preview window.
4. Now you can click the items in the snapshot preview window.

This works at least in Second Life viewer and Firestorm viewer (maybe in other viewers too).

To complete the unholy pentangle of possible picture procurement procedures I shall include the final invocation!

• Go to Mouselook (keyboard shortcut m)
• Take a screenshot using Ctrl+Shift+S
• Use Tab (or Alt as Coby describes) to move between controls on the snapshot floater.

The character on the key used will vary for most national keyboards
